What are you going to be for Halloween?

I am most likely going to stay home and hand out treats- since I don’t get to stay home to do that much- and I want to dress up.

This year I really want to be Aunt Lily from pushingdaisies.

( guess I better redo my henna/find a martini glass & make an eyepatch  )

I ws thinking of dressing up as Sarah Palin, but I thought that might be to scary!

I plan to be something cute and sexy. Maybe a cute, sexy rat or something similar. I have some stray items that will make a nice costume.

When the kids were home, I’d embarass them by dressing up as “Dr. Quack” and answering the door with a Bozo the Clown wig, clown make-up, and a lab coat. Their friends thought I was a really cool mom.

I usually dress up to hand out the candy, too, while H takes S2 out to ring doorbells. I’m in costume limbo this year until S2 decides whether he’s going to be a pirate (for the fourth year in a row), Darth Vader, or Batman.

Let’s hope he goes with pirate - I’m getting a little old to be Batgirl. :D

A Twi’lek Sith Lord. Might be a little bit cold, though, so maybe she can be a Jedi instead. (I have a purple lightsaber, anyway…a red one would be sort of inconvenient.)

Oh, I always hand out candy with my henna’ed hair, my eyepatch, and a martini or two. (Don’t worry, I am careful not to splash gin into the candy corn.)

This year I can tell people I am being Aunt Lily.

EmeraldKity4, Thanks for the tip!

I will be at the big rivalry football game of the year. And throwing candy to the kids in the stands. :)

I’m going as a black hole. Head to toe in black. One shoulder will be labeled “Naked Singularity,” the other, “Event Horizon.” If you get too close, no spaghettification, I promise!

Oh, I should mention, we’re visiting the Planetarium on Halloween!

I heard of a great costume idea. Go as a voting booth, and then the people put candy in the slot of the candidate they support. At the end of the night, you’ll see which way your neighbors are leaning, and you might get a lot more candy if they try to stuff the ballot box! :D

Tina Fey…

Since Halloween is the night before the state qualifier meet I’ll have to dress up as the coach and drive around to make sure none of the team members are out…

Bourbon Street in New Orleans. The locals REALLY know how to dress for this Holiday! (I’m thinking of dressing as a “normal” person.)

Greenman from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

I’m dressing as a suburban mom giving out candy. ;)

I could dress up as an empty nest, but I would probably scare the trick-or-treaters.

im gonna be sarah palin :)

Myself, and an extra candy bar to the kids from my school who tell me who they are! H usually dons a wierd wig and enjoys the consternation…“Is that you, Mr. G?”

I had no idea Halloqueen was a national phenomenon.

I have a nine hr field class Friday- but I hope to still squeeze in time to pass out candy and still make the Tractor.

[HalloQueen - SEATTLE](<a href=“Featured Content on Myspace”>Featured Content on Myspace)

I used to love Queen- but I was so sheltered I thought they got the name cause they were British. ;)

So I am wondering- when should I buy candy? I don’t want to eat it- but I don’t want to give out tootsie rolls either. :p

My husband puts on his Conehead head piece that he has had forever. My kids groan when he pulls it out!

With Halloween being a Friday I think we will have less kids this year. Sometimes the schools will have parties when Halloween falls on the weekend, or people will have parties at their home. I am hoping the HS football team is at home Friday night; that will keep the big kids off the street!

I do not buy my candy until the day before, otherwise we would eat it all! I do buy some candies we like, but most is for the kids. I try to make sure I have something safe for the toddlers even though I know their moms and dads eat most of their stash!

It’s so upsetting because there is a hs football game. I think I’m going to put something on the neighborhoold association BB about it…lots of folks won’t be home due to the game, but if people bring their kids out early, they’ll see more people.
