<p>My freshman D decided to visit friends in South Cal instead of coming home. 
What is your Stanford S/D doing this next week?</p>
<p>I can tell you, as a Bay Area resident I’m back home and using the time to catch up on sleep. Have a tough quarter following this one so I need to get some rest.</p>
<p>D is getting her wisdom teeth out on Monday. Orthodontist on Thursday. Doctor on Friday. Her car has to go in for a major service. We have to cram everything in this week since she won’t be home this summer. She is staying on campus for the second summer in a row.</p>
<p>Emgamac, your D’s Spring Break sounds just like my D’s first week of summer break with all the doctor’s appointments, etc. Unfortunately, we only get to see D for one week at the beginning of summer and then she is off with a Stanford research group to South American for 7 weeks. At this stage of their lives, we’ll just take them whenever we can!</p>
