<p>Has anyone used SLC for physics 8A or chem 1A? If so, how was it? Helpful or not worth going to? They made it sound like it was the best thing you could ever do for your academics and grades. I’m not gettin that vibe from these posts tho (besides the last one).</p>
<p>When you said “dont go to a lecture if its webcast”…what if all the lectures in one class are webcast? Does that mean you never go?</p>
<p>@wcs: i never went to a single lecture of Biology 1A, 1B, and 1AL. i also never went to any lectures if notes were posted for the class (Chem 3A, Physics 8B). and my attendance rate was definitely less than 50% for the classes that didn’t have either. i did make it out to office hours regularly though. frankly, i don’t think going to lectures is all that important for lower-div coursework.</p>
