Hey there everyone; long-time lurker, first-time poster. I wanted to ask everyone what YOUR top schools are. Ignore US News. Ignore Gourman. Ignore other CCers. This is YOUR personal list of the schools you would most want to attend if you were accepted into every school in the world with a full ride. (I don’t even want a single mention of outside rankings.) Feel free to explain your rankings, but since this is everyone’s PERSONAL list, there should be no criticizing of other’s rankings.

Here’s my list:

Harvard

Penn

5) Penn
6) Brown
7) Duke
8) Northwestern
9) Dartmouth
10) Williams

forget the rest

I really like alternative schools because I feel like if I (okay…my parents) am going to pay all that money, I want to have control over what classes I take, my education, and not spend money on classes I have little or no interest in. My top 20:
