I am quite confused and have not yet made my mind on which book to get to assess myself in reviewing and preparing myself for the specific sections: writing and critical reading.

I was hoping to hear from you guys a book so comprehensive and decent that it assesses the writing and critical reading sections very well— review and practice test wise.

Might as well suggest me which book to get for Biology: Cracking the SAT Biology 2012-2013 or Barron’s SAT Biology 3rd Edition.

I hope to hear from you on both these issues. Thank you!

I just answered you on the December SAT thread; but like I said there it will depend on your current score. Read the answer I gave there; but please respond there as I won’t be checking back here.

Add:I haven’t taken the SAT yet, it will be my first time on January. I am getting Barron’s Math level 2 to cover for the math section and the SAT II,the Official SAT study guide for practice tests and perhaps the direct hits for vocabulary. Since Rocket Review is just pricey, I hope to get the Barron’s Critical Reading book instead. A’m I doing it right or are you suggesting something instead of this?

Add:I read reviews about the Barron’s Critical Reading Book being not worth it, and rather, suggesting the Barron’s SAT book instead. I’ve also read that Kaplan is good for CR? I’m confused now which to get.

I also found a Kaplan 12 practice test, it sounds good to me, but I am thinking that the official SAT book would suffice, plus, it would be more accurate.
