- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (read it in 8th grade, four years ago, and it really inspired me; I have read it three more times since then)
- The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein (sophisticated story line <3)
- The Hunger Games series!
(my mom and I are huge fans) - The Harry Potter series by JK Rowling (of course!)
- Jodi Picoult (any of her books will do; she is phenomenal)
- Stephen King (if I had to suggest two of his books, it would be Full Dark, No Stars and Cell)</p>

- The Lucifer Effect by Philip Zimbardo (for fun; I love psychology <3)</p>

<p>I’ve recently read the Hunger games trilogy and it was amazing. It showed the extents to which humanity can lend itself. The novels are at once, novels of excruciating beauty and sorrow. I’d recommend it to you.</p>
<p>I just ordered Full Dark and When Genius’ Failed. Tomorrow, I’m going to get Hunger Games from the library. I’ll deff get most of the books you guys posted in this thread within the year. Thanks. Keeps to reqs coming.</p>
<p>My AP Lang class made me read Faust by Goethe. For APUSH we had to read 1776. Those are pretty much the only two books I’ve read in HS.</p>
