What books to bring?

Okay, so I heard from a friend that her brother used some of the novels that he read during high school for college. I was wondering whether anyone knew which ones to take with me to use for i dont know… maybe english. I am thinking along the terms of bringing death of a salesman, hamlet, complete works of oscar wilde, 1984, brave new world, and a few others. Is it absolutely necessary to have extra novels on hand or am I just being stupid?

if u have a schedule look up the professors you’re getting and ask them what books you’ll be using via email or phone. don’t do it now tho. maybe a bit closer towards august or 3 weeks before you leave to school.

You may be able to get a book list before classes and you move in, but if not, you could have your parents send you any you need in a care package. I wouldn’t bring anything that you don’t absolutely know you’ll use, since I’m assuming you are in a dorm room and there is very little storage in any dorms I’ve seen.

If you’re doing any kind of math and sciences, I’d bring any reference-type books you have. I use a math dictionary and calc review books often to look stuff up since I am already used to using them. Don’t bother with a dictionary though, as you can find that all online or in the library now.

Sweetness… thanks!
I live an hour away from home… so i can easily pick up whatever books i need from home…
