Any suggestions?

Just saw Aladdin and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. Both fabulous!
Here are my comments on your choices. I live very close to NYC and go to a decent amount of theater.
–First off Aida, WarHorse and Spiderman have closed.
–Book of Mormon is fantastic but a tad edgy (by people who do South Park TV show) and is very hard to get tickets for.
–Lion King is great for a someone who hasn’t seen much on Broadway. You likely know the story/music and the costumes are absolutely fantastic. That would be my top choice.
– Wicked is also a standard of Broadway and would be good.
–Les Miz is a great show but kind of “heavy” and the new production didn’t get fantastic reviews (I saw the original production)
–In terms of the above poster’s suggestions I haven’t seen Aladdin but people do like it a lot. The Curious Incident is a straight play and you seem to be looking for a musical – it is based on the book of the same name so you can read a synopsis and see if you are interested.
–Another idea might be Something Rotten which is very funny but it helps to know some other shows and Shakespeare since there are references to both. Still, the stars are great and it is a good option.
List of plays is below.

@happy1 the shows you listed, the OP has already seen. She didn’t need a critique of those.
My choices would be Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Kinky Boots, Mamma Mia. All fun and all good shows.
I know folks who have seen Something Rotten, and On the Town…liked them both.
Jersey Boys is great too.
Second Curious Incident and hear good things about Hamilton.
OOPS,…my bad…apologies…
I’ve heard Matilda is absolutely phenomenal. I plan on seeing it when it comes to Chicago next year, as well as Beautiful.
Am just missing Kinky Boots in Chicago right now; just could not squeeze it in.
You’ve got a good variety of things you’ve seen before, and are obviously open to. Seems like you’ll have a lot of choices.
Op, I believe you may also enjoy The Phantom of the Opera and although this show is now ‘Off Broadway’, I really enjoyed Avenue Q.
I plan on going to see Kinky Boots the next time I travel to New York.
I’m dying to see Fun Home and Hamilton.
Hamilton. Tickets may be available while it’s in previews, but once it opens, good luck. It opens in August. I know someone who just saw it, and they raved. (I have tickets!)
Kinky Boots and Mathilda are very good. Beautiful was fabulous, if you like Carole King (I don’t know if the current actress playing her is as good as the original).
Mamma Mia should be closed by October.
Fun Home is on my list, too.
Like notelling I want to see Fun Home and Hamilton.
I highly recommend Beautiful.
We just saw Kinky Boots last week. it was great. Jersey Boys is an all time fav for us. Next trip we plan on seeing Matilda.
Hamilton has sold close to $30 million just in presale tickets. I so want to see that and Fun Home! I also really want to go to Beautiful with my mom. Seriously, though, if you can get Hamilton tickets, it’s supposed to be the hot show at the Tony’s next year.
I’ve also heard great things about Something Rotten, and I have seen and love Hedwig (although not sure if Taye Diggs will still be there when you see it, and you want to know who you’re going to see - they’ve picked out great Hedwigs so far though).
Noises Off is back? Love that show!
Allegiance, the new show by George Takei, opens in October. I have tickets, but haven’t seen it yet. Lea Salonga is in it! Last weekend I went to see Hand to God, a play described as a dark comedy. While the acting was phenomenal, I didn’t care for it at all. From the reviews/description, it sounded like something I would have enjoyed.
Friends have seen A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder and have enjoyed it.
I see about 2 musicals in NY/year.
Hated Mathilda - left at intermission. Did not like the music or characters.
I hear Kinky Boots, Beautiful, and Hamilton are great.
Liked Aladdin much more than I thought I would. Genie steals the show.
Revival of The King & I at Lincoln Center is not as good as reported.
Hamilton, Fun Home, Beautiful.
I saw Jersey Boys and Chicago last month. Both were excellent and getting tickets with the TKTS discount made them even better.
Another vote for Kinky Boots and Hamilton.
Last time I was in NY I was going to see kinky boots but instead saw an off Broadway show called Natasha, Pierre and the great comet if 1812 for reasons some here will understand (sorry to be vague). Very cute show. Would still love to see kinky boots. Did see Book of Mormon that trip. Loved it.
