In college I plan on majoring in Biology to pursue my goal of becoming a dermatologist. I want to be a dermatologist, because since I was a baby I have been suffering from eczema. I grew up wondering why I was different from everyone. I always felt bad for myself, but one day in our freshman AVID class we had to do a project about our future. I didn’t know what I wanted to be. I started “googling” random careers then I stumbled upon “dermatologist.” At the time I didn’t know what a dermatologist was so I read on and learned that this was what I wanted to be. I figured It was the career for me, because ever since I could talk I always told people I wanted to be a doctor and having eczema inspired me to help others suffering from other skin diseases. I then put those two factors together and since then becoming a dermatologist is what I aspire to be.
