What can I do with Applied Calculus I (community college level) as a high school student?

I will be a high school senior when school starts. While in school, I will be attending college. Applied Calculus I is on my schedule for the Fall. So can I take Calculus II after AC I or how does that work out. I want to advance in mathematics while in high school; this will impress colleges (it kinda is too late though).
By the way, I couldn’t register for Calculus I because of the prerequisites required, in which I did not obtain ( not because of grades but because I did not take the required classes).
So after Applied Calculus, can I take the Calculus I or II? I already that I can take AC II.

Applied Calculus is an alternative to the Calculus track. It is a watered down version of the Calculus track; it gives only what would be useful for certain majors. Certain majors will require Calculus 1 and not the rest of the series, instead of requiring Applied Calculus. You cannot take Calculus II after Applied Calculus as the focus will be different in each class and you will not be prepared for Calculus II after Applied Calculus. You can see this reflected in the different requirements for pre-reqs.

Look at what you want to be doing with your major and see which suits your needs. If you are looking at engineering or any of the sciences, save yourself the trouble and sign up for the pre-reqs so you can get closer to starting the Calculus sequence.
