<p>I think girls can pull them off with certain outfits, like dresses or skirts-- that’s something I see all the time and if it is a modern denim jacket (sounds like an oxymoron, but there are updated ones from the original 90’s style) I think it looks cute. I think it can be pulled off in other outfits too but it just depends on your style, you could really just google denim jackets and see if anyone is wearing anything you like. </p>

<p>For boys, I am having a hard time thinking of anything that wouldn’t make you look like a ten year old. I feel like for men the fashion has probably not changed enough for it to not look outdated. For women, they have gotten shorter and become more fitted and less casual, so it’s a different look than it used to be. </p>

<p>That said, I did just google denim jackets and saw an extremely dark wash jacket on a male that looked /okay./ He appears to be wearing it with a t shirt and khakis. But it is not a super casual looking jacket, so maybe that’s why it looks alright. <p>Personally, I think you’re fine then. But perhaps it depends on the region. I am not from an area known for its fashionistas so maybe what we wear would be unacceptable elsewhere.</p>
