<p>So apparently the Post Office building on the postal lands is a registered historical landmark and Penn can’t knock it down.</p>
<p>Not that I mind…the building is a rather striking work of 1930s architecture and built on a grand scale that commands respect.</p>
<p>The only problem is, what on earth could you put in the Post Office building? You could have a nice ring of rooms around the exterior where there are windows, but what of the inside–a vast, windowless void?</p>
