<p>Regarding “what can x university offer you as a student?”, should the essay be personal or should it be more broad and general? </p>
<p>“You” means you personally…they know what they have to offer students generally, but what is it specifically that you would want to take from there and that may not be offered elsewhere. Is there a specific dept you are interested in? A specific prof whose work you admire? Courses you see here that you haven’t seen elsewhere?</p>
