What career are you NOT planning on?

Teacher - think about how much you gossip about how much you hate so-and-so teacher. I don’t think I could handle that kind of thought that people are dissing me behind my back.

Engineer - My dad’s one…works way too hard for what the job pays.

Mathematician - not a math person.

Anything that has to deal with kids ages 3-15 - they’re annoying. Yes, I am dissing myself at those ages, but ugh, SO ANNOYING.

College counselor - No way am I dealing with college every day for the rest of my life.

SAT prep school owner/SAT writer/SAT whatever - Not dealing with SATs the rest of my life.

How do you think these hospitals and medical supplies companies get the capital to continue business? You can thank investment bankers.

hey indy787, before you make a dumbass, ignorant comment like that, think about the importance of those jobs you slammed.

i would hate to be a dentist or a pilot (can’t stand flying)

i want to be a pilot :)

Actuarial scientist or any kind of scientist for that matter. I hate complicated math, and I’m not good at any of the sciences.

Nothing related to cutthroat pharmaceuticals or engineering. Nothing involving experiments on lab rats or cloning.

Anything liberal arts or humanities.

i’ve just never really been an “English” person.

Anything to do with medicine

If you guys can rip on medicine, I can rip on investment banking. Don’t even give me that BS.

jesus people… is it that hard to respect other people’s opinions?

Real estate, banking, … anything in which your people/networking skills are more or almost important than the technical skills you got from your degree.

mortician, coroner… things dealing directly with corpses = NO

dentist…

as important as that job is, i wouldn’t wanna do it. i truly respect those ppl who actually do.

dentist… eww i would totally hate my career if i was a dentist.

salesman or a publicist

teaching
any kind of business
any kind of religiously affiliated profession
basically anything else that doesnt have to do with science/math…

I don’t respect other people’s opinions if their opinions are born out of ignorance.

And where did I EVER rip on medicine?

nobody ripped on medicine…indy is as *******

i will never be a-
a. doctor
b. engineer
c. school teacher
d. religion associated professional
e. computer programmer
f. retail salesman

I’d like to be -
a. social worker
b. investment banker
c. hedge fund manager
d. international travel show host
e. Journalist
f. entrepreneur (non techie)

I will never be a doctor. I personally believe that I’d want a doctor who’s a doctor because they love to help people; not because it’s the prized profession to their culture (this is common with many asian cultures, they find medicine to be very secure and respectful.) I don’t want someone practicing on me because they like the respect or money that comes with the job, they’ve gotta have genuine passion for it.
