I would invite Ariana Grande to attend the Univeristy of Seattle Washington with me!
I would invite Johnny Hawkins from the band Nothing More because they’re my favorite band and he is such a nice, funny, and down to earth person. I’d invite him to University of Toledo!
I would invite Chappel Roan to my campus at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Seeing as she is from Missouri, I think that she would like my campus
I’d invite Tyler, The Creator to Georgia Tech
Ideally, I would have J.R.R. Tolkien or Harlan Ellison visit me at Pittsburg State University. They are both writers I respect greatly and am motivated by, but if I were to choose someone who currently still lives, I would choose Neil Gaiman. Gaiman is a talented writer too.
The Oxford Union technically isn’t the University, but they always have all kinds of interesting speakers each term. Lots of celebrities.
I would invite Spencer Barbosa. She is a social media influencer who creates body-positive and mental health content for young women. I would love to have her at Kent!
I would invite one of my favorite football players, Patrick Mahomes to my dream college ; the University of North Carolina.
I would like to invite Mxmtoon to my dream college, University of California San Diego, because she’s my favorite artist. Knowing her I’m sure she’d love the quiet environment, and the ocean!!
I would invite Josiah Queen to Iowa State University because I think that his music can have a large impact on people.
I would definitely invite Lebron James because I’d love to hear his story. He had pressure on him from the day he entered the NBA right out of highschool, and for 22 seasons now he has exceeded all expectations. I would take him to Johns Hopkins.
I would invite Ellen Pompeo with me to go to UCLA. She is my favorite actor, and her shows and podcasts helped me get through a lot of hard times. Also, she advocates for social justice, and the values that she upholds publicly aligns with mine.
I would love to invite Jacinda Ardern, the former Prime Minster of New Zealand, to the George Washington University. She is a very inspirational leader because of her emphasis on empathy and compassion in leadership, alongside notions of assertiveness and strength. It’s refreshing to see leaders like her who acknowledge that we need our leaders to be able to empathise with the situations of others.
I would want to invite Jelly Roll to University of Washington. He shows people how adversity and struggle can turn you into a roll model thru perseverance and hard work.
I would invite Sara Blakely and Jesse Itzler to Loyola Marymount University because their entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to giving back inspire students. Their success stories and philanthropy would motivate us to pursue our dreams and positively impact our communities.
If I could invite any artist in the world to my dream college Stanford I would invite Frida Kahlo to show her, a known feminist, that I a fellow Mexican girl got into such a good school. I feel like it would make her proud and it would be so cool to meet the famous Frida!
If I could invite any celebrity or artist to my dream school UC Berkeley, I would invite Hayao Miyazaki. He is one of the founders of Studio Ghibli, a Japanese animation studio that brings stories to life in the most beautiful ways. Watching Ghibli movies was a fundamental part of childhood, and influenced me to pursue art. It would be an honor to have such a prominent influence in my life visit my dream school! #AscentSponsored
I would invite Zoe Saldana not only because I love her acting but also because she’s inspired me as a Latina to not give up on my dreams and continue working hard.
If I were to invite someone famous to my college, I would have invited Emily Dickinson when she was alive. I have always loved her poems, and have performed many pieces of music set to text by her. I would invite her to the Nazareth University, which I currently attend. It started out as an all womens college, which I think would be incredibly meaningful to Dickinson. Along with that many of Dickinson’s poems were centered around nature, and it is a beautiful camps that I am certain she would be able to draw inspiration from.
I would invite Deion Sanders to California State University-Fullerton because we used to have a football team, and maybe he can do some convincing to bring it back!
