I would invite Jim Carrey to speak at my dream college at the University of Oxford. I have admired him since I was a child for his comedy and as I grew older realized his story is not only about professional success, it’s about finding meaning, seeking joy, and being true to oneself. His journey from poverty to stardom, coupled with his self-reflection and wisdom, continues to inspire me to persevere, embrace life authentically, and find happiness within.
I would invite Frank Ocean because he is an amazing musical artist. I would take him to UIUC.
I would invite Harold Azuara, who played Monche in the mexican sitcom, “La CQ”. Why would I invite him to UC San Diego? I just think he would be such a chill classmate. Most people are going to answer because the person is their idol or they are popular, but I see the value in just having that person who calms you down and just talks about whatever as a way to relax and focus on other things in life other than exams and scores.
I would’ve loved to invite Ned Vizzini, the author of It’s Kind of a Funny Story. However, sadly, he has passed after battling with mental illness. His book told a story about an over-achieving student, upon whom his family hang all their hopes and expectations, and how his dreams were halted by depression. It tells a beautiful journey of healing, of acknowledging that mental illness isn’t 100% curable, but it’s something someone learns to live with. The ending paragraph still sticks with me, as someone who struggled mentally, it encourages the protagonist (and the reader) to take the simple pleasures in life and to live, because we chose to remain here despite it all.
My dream college is NYU.
If I could invite any celebrity to my dream college, it would be Lebron James. This is because Lebron James is an empowering and inspiring black male and would be able to tell me his words of wisdom. My dream college is Virginia tech
I would invite the Try Guys to my college Temple University, Japan Campus. The Try Guys are a group of content creators who are up for trying anything. The college I go to is an international American school located in the heart of Tokyo. I would like to invite Tate Mcrae because she is one of my favorite artists at Slippery Rock University.
I would invite David Attenborough to my dream college - Michigan State University. Personally, I love being outdoors and learning about everything to do with the environment. It would be fantastic, in my opinion, if Attenborough narrated what the two of us saw outdoors like he does in documentaries. The experience would make a meaningful impact on my life and would just be an enjoyable time.
If I were to invite any celebrity I would bring Calumn Harper to Cambridge because of how funny and entertaining he would make things. Due to his way of trying to find new things and try it even if he doesn’t know what it is It would be fun to be able to experience new things with him at Cambridge and explore more around since he would help me out open up more.
I would invite Jon Keith to Berry University, would be fun to hang out with him
Quite honestly, grew up listening to traditional Spanish and soft rock music (I know it a weird mix, blame it on my parents) and have grown to love the works of Thom Yorke. Therefore, if anyone it would be him, saying that he has not only shaped the rock industry with his band by a much more famous name, Radiohead, but is highly educated and has inspired my personal interests with the atmosphere he creates in music.

If I could invite a celebrity, it would be Denzel Washington because of his incredible talent, wisdom, and integrity. As an actor, he’s portrayed such a wide range of characters with depth and authenticity, making his performances memorable and inspiring. But beyond his roles, Denzel stands out for his commitment to his craft, his dedication to giving back to the community, and his grounded perspective on life. I imagine a conversation with him would be both thought-provoking and motivating, as he has a unique blend of humility, success, and life experience. Plus, his sense of humor and storytelling would make for an unforgettable evening!
