What Celebrity, Athlete, or Artist Would You Invite to Visit Your Dream College?

If I could invite a celebrity, sports star or artist to my dream college, I would invite Michelle Obama. She is an amazing role model and inspiration to many youth as she strives to advocate for working class communities, education and empowerment of women and minorities. She frequently discusses the importance of mental health and self care which as a college student is something that can drive success if balanced and at a healthy state of mind. Lastly she carries herself with class and poise! My dream college would be Duke University to pursue my advanced nursing degree!

As an student interested in environmental science, I would invite artist, Andy Goldsworthy–known as Nature’s artist-- to my dream college, Emory University. Since Emory is one of the greenest college campuses in the United States, I would invite him to capture how Emory students are taking an initiative to preserve the environment, and inspire others to protect our natural environment. I would invite artist Andy Goldsworthy because his paintings was the first time I found my purpose to be one associated with environmental science.

From a young age I knew that I wanted to be a lawyer, and I have been seriously preparing for it. For example, at 15 I got a paralegal certificate and I have interned at the San Francisco’s District Attorney’s Office. My other passion is art and I am in love with the Western Civilization class I am taking this year at school and, luckily, in addition to being a frequent museum goer in my own city, I have spent precious time in English, French, and Italian museums. That’s why I would like to invite a lawyer I admire, Sandra Day’o Conner, and in my dreams a Northern Baroque artist, Johannes Vermeer of Delft, whose painting A Girl with a Pearl Earringā€ I have been in love with since I saw it in the De Young Museum when I was six years old. New York, being both the center of art and law, I would invite them to my dream school Columbia university. You have guessed right: my goal is to become an artifact and Mesum lawyer.

I would invite Dr. Stephanie Akbari, MD to UVA to help me perfect my study habits when taking classes to prepare me for med school. She is an amazing surgeon in my area and an inspiration to women in STEAM fields.

I would invite Kendrick Lamar because he is my favorite musician/artist and helped me get through tough times. I would invite him to visit the University of Toledo.

I would invite artist Noah Kahan to visit my dream college. My dream college would be the University of West Florida. I chose him as his music has been an inspiration to me in many ways. It has related to me and helped me through multiple eras of my life!

I’d invite Anthony Edwards to the University of Minnesota. He’s a big deal in the Twin Cities and I know that the University of Minnesota would show him lots of love for what he’s done for Minnesota.

I would invite Taylor Swift to Belmont Univertisty, which is my dream college. Ive also wanted to meet Taylor swift so this is why I would invite her to visit Belmont Univeristy in Nashville.

I’d invite Chappel Roan to the University of New Brunswick. She’s made me feel less alone with her music?

I would invite Benson Boone because he graduated from my High school, and I want to take him to University of Hawaii at Hilo.

If I could invite anyone to Loyola Marymount University, I would choose Lin-Manuel Miranda. His works like Hamilton and In The Heights celebrate diversity and align with LMU’s mission of education, justice, and cultural enrichment. By telling stories that elevate underrepresented voices, Miranda encourages learning and fosters an inclusive perspective, embodying the values of LMU’s community.

Miranda’s philanthropic efforts, such as raising $15 million for Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, highlight his commitment to service and advocacy. His focus on the performing arts complements LMU’s renowned theatre program, making him an inspiring figure for students aspiring to combine creativity with social impact.

I would invite Taylor Swift! I know she is very popular, but I relate to her music a lot and it has gotten me through some hard times. She would come with me to Messiah University!

If I could invite any celebrity to visit my dream college, I would choose Drew Barrymore. I adore the work she does, acting, hosting, and encouraging those battling addiction, to seek help and take care of themselves. I think she spreads such an amazing message and some of these problems with addiction start right in college. Drew also seems to have such as comforting aura about her, and in any talk show I’ve seen her on, including her own, she is so warm and ready to connect with whoever is in front of her. I love how she is never afraid to dive into hard, rough conversations with people, as she is very in the moment and present with the people she is talking to. She seems to also treat everyone around her with the same amount of respect, so much so that you almost forget she has a crazy celebrity status of fame! These are all reasons why I would invite her to my dream college, as I feel she would spread so much empathy and warmth to those she met during that time, which more people need than most others realize. I would invite her to Plymouth State University.

I would invite Nurse John to visit my dream college because he is very funny and relatable, and while dealing with my chemotherapy sessions, his podcasts and TikTok videos were the only things keeping me sane in isolation. My dream college is the college I attend which is west coast university in anaheim

If I could invite anyone to my dream university, I would be inviting Jeremy Jordan to the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University. He’s an excellent actor and has one of the most beautiful singing voices I have ever heard. He also plays my favorite character in one of my favorite shows. As someone who has taken theatre all throughout high school, I respect his craft and would give anything to see him perform live. Jordan also seems like an extremely nice fellow, and it would be a cool opportunity to talk with him about topics in theatre.
