From a young age I knew I wanted to be a lawyer, and I have been seriously preparing for it. To this end, at 15 I got a paralegal certificate and I have interned at the San Francisco’s District Attorney’s Office. My other passion is art and I am in love with the Western Civilization class I am taking this year at school and, luckily, in addition to being a frequent museum goer in my own city, I have spent precious time in English, French, and Italian museums. That’s why I would like to invite a lawyer I admire, Sandra Day O’Conner, and, in my dreams, a Northern Baroque artist, Johannes Vermeer of Delft, whose painting “A Girl with a Pearl Earring” I have been in love with since I saw it in the De Young Museum when I was six years old. New York being both the center of art and law, I would invite them to my dream school Columbia University. You have guessed right: my goal is to become an Artifact and Museum lawyer.
