If I could invite any celebrity to my dream university, the University of Virginia (UVA), I would invite UVA alumna Katie Couric. Katie Couric is an outstanding and groundbreaking journalist and author known for her ability to use storytelling to spark curiosity, elevate conversations, and inspire action in others. After losing her husband to colon cancer, she is also a constant advocate for health awareness. As a biomedical engineering major, I am passionate about research and using engineering to find innovative healthcare solutions. To be a journalist is to be a researcher as you need to be able to gather information to produce ground-breaking stories. I think Katie Couric would give an amazing lecture on the intersection of cancer awareness and media perception. Inviting Katie Couric provides an opportunity to spark a conversation on how we can use storytelling and research to create change in the public perception of health.
I would 100% invite Ni-ki from Enhypen, as he is my favorite member of the K-pop groups, to my dream college, which is the Rochester Institute of Technology.
If I could invite any celebrity to visit my dream college it would be, Maya Angelou. This is because I firmly believe that without courage, nothing is possible. Having courage is vital to taking risks and leaps of faith, because without that, many things can hold you back from self progression and future success; like, the anticipated fear of rejection or failure for example. Maya Angelou promotes this mindset in her quote stating, “Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can’t practice any other virtue consistently”. Speaking this out to a multitude of college students I believe would be motivating to say the least and give a boost. My dream school is North Carolina Agriculture & Technical School!

If I could invite any celebrity to visit my dream college, it’s going to be JPEGMAFIA. He’s an amazing rapper-producer and would also inspire those that aspire to make music, even if it was a hobby. I wanted to consider Kanye West as a candidate to invite to visit my dream college, but he’s too much of a controversial figure in today’s standards and I’m uncertain if it will go well coming to Kanye’s mental health as of Dec 2024.
I would absolutely invite Jim Carrey to my college. I have loved his movies since I was a kid, especially Dumb and Dumber. I also feel like his speeches are inspirational and he always displays positivity.
For the athletes, I would invite LeBron James to come to my college - University of New Hampshire. But since I like music more, I would invite Rita Payés to come to my school! If she performed live that would be amazing!!
I would invite Miley Cyrus. I chose her because she’s been an inspiration to me since a youth. She showed me how to remain headstrong during tough times or when around negative opinions. My current dream school is Georgia Southern University.

If I could invite any celebrity, athlete or artist to visit the University of North Texas, I would choose Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone. I chose her because I have always looked up to her as a great example of what an athlete should act like. She is currently the best hurdler in the world and is very open about how her faith has been the determining factor to her success.

I would invite Billie Eilish because she is one of my biggest inspirations and she shows so much love for all the people. Meeting her would be a dream or even going to one of her concerts as well!
To invite to our university I would suggest Maj. Gen. John W. Peabody, to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Prescott. He is an inspiration for my career and future as an engineer assisting those in need.
I would invite Lauren Daigle to my dream school, Olivet Nazarene University, because she is a Christian artist with really great music, amazing outfits, and she performed at our state fair this year.
