bump. thanks!

112 not sure
114 uses Zumdahl
118 uses Oxtoby

In general:
[Yale OCI](http://■■■■■■■.com/rex2dg)

[:)…and then click on subjects and they usually have syllabuses]

112 not sure (as no syllabus is listed). But 113 uses Kotz.

BTW, I am not sure whether you have already received your Yale NetID. It usually requires your Yale NetID to access the syllabus.

^Yeah, we can’t see the syllabi yet because we don’t have our NetIDs. Some of us had activated them earlier than we were supposed to but then ITS locked them so we can’t use them until the 1st.

thanks for the responses everyone. yeah i wish i could just access the syllabi but we can’t yet, right?

i was just thinking about getting a head start on finding cheap textbooks…a lot of my current college freshman friends were trying to sell theirs so i was wondering if yale might use the same ones.

plus it might be helpful for me to buy just a general chem textbook and review the material. i know the info on the link you posted, booyakasha, says that with a 5 on ap chem and a 740+ on the subject test, you can go into chem 118 right? but i took both the ap test and the subject test as a sophomore so i’ve forgotten a lot of the material anyway despite having the scores to skip ahead.

so would zumdahl be a good pick for an overall review? i think my ap chem teacher might actually have a couple really old editions lying around that he might let me borrow over the summer, haha yay:)
