What classes should I take for my senior year?

Right now as a junior, I’m taking 5 Honors, 1 AP, and marching band. I’m ranked number 2 in my class.

The classes I’ve limited it down to are:

AP Biology
AP Psychology
AP Spanish
AP Computer Science
AP English*
AP Calculus*
Band*
ASB
H Physics
H Theology OR Campus Ministry (I have to pick one. It’s mandatory.)

means I’ve already decided I’m going to take those classes for sure.

I want to do biochemical engineering when I go to college. My dream college is UCLA.

So what should I take? And are senior year classes really that important to colleges? Please help me pick 4 other classes out of the ones I gave.

AP Calc
AP English
AP Bio
AP Computer Science
Honors Theology
Honors Physics

hmmm do public universities care about Honors theology?

I’m not sure since I am just graduating this year from hs, but I think only the first semester of senior year counts in a normal high school, unless you have huge ambitions for being val.
If you are aiming for val, then you should take H theology, AP bio, Ap cs, ap spanish/ap physc.

The reason why shouldn’t take physics is because you never know if you are going to change your mind about biochemical engineering, and the AP credit will count more than honors physics, and it saves money in college. Also if it’s possible, you should somehow take AP chemistry if you want some more leisure in college.

Cudos to you for being in band!

P.S. What’s ASB?

thanks!! ASB is administrative student body, it’s a class offered if you’re a president, treasurer, secretary, etc. of the year or w/e. too bad it’s not an AP / H class lol.

and yea im actually taking AP chem this year. im a bit far from the guy who’s number one right now, so i think i’ll just limit myself to like 5-6 APs, but not all 7. i hear ya on the physics H

& congrats on graduating, i wish i was out of high school already ha
