I was just wondeirng, what courses do they care about, and what years do the Amherst adcoms look at?

I believe that Amherst, as well as all the elites will compare all your classes prior to application, (1,2,3 yrs) to your school profile to see whether or not you took the most rigorous courses available to you. Then, after acceptance, they care about your senior year grades, as well.

How will they know my school’s profile? What if I attended two schools? I attened one school for 2 years, but left it beacause of its course selection, for a school with ton more choices? Will they look at both?

Do they care about HS middle school courses?
Misc. courses? (non-academic, PE,etc)

The registrar or counselor sends it with the forms they need with your transcript when you apply. As to the profile of your prior school - check with GC to see if they sent one with your transcript, and if they did, make sure it goes with the school’s info to Amherst. If they didn’t send one, then as GC top contact prior school to get one to attach.
