Just because you’re in it, China, doesn’t make it anything more so.

ACA is not a dating club … not all Asian clubs are mainly for dating … it is all subtle but very obvious if you know everyone in the club.

In my opinion, ACA is the ABC club. You can meet people easily (easiest in my opinion) - just join a family, go to events, become an officer …

It is probably one of the club where if you’re not Chinese, you won’t feel awkward or left out.

are there any dating clubs where theres also fobs but where i wont feel awkward/eft out if i dont speak their language?

When I was in HS, I used to go to all the JSA parties. Because all my hs friends were fobs you see. Real fobs, who went on to university in Japan. It’s not about how you look, it’s about how up to date you are with culture back home, politics back home (lol TAU = DPP)

Why are you so interested in fobs? Go to events for CSA and ACA. They have easy girls who will like you as long as you’re nice to them (and bonus if you’re white.) That’s your best bet if you like those kind of girls)

You are a female right?

Moldau is right about the culture connection. It’s hard to explain here.

BTW, TAU sucks because they speak English more than half of the time! So it’s not as fun .

i went to some kasa events. most of them speak korean.

if you’re into that

“It’s not about how you look, it’s about how up to date you are with culture back home, politics back home (lol TAU = DPP)”

I’m not up to date at all with asian culture and politics. but i would like to learn more

I’m interested in fobs because they’re cool people and i consider myself too whitewashed.

would the easy girls even go for asian nerds like me?

You’ve tried?
No, they wouldn’t. If you have to ask, you’ll never know.

are there asian engineering nerds in tau? or any other asian club?

I forgot to mention: AATP. Probably the best place to start for you.

No there are not many engineering nerds in TAU.

there are fobs and/or engineering nerds in aatp?

is it possible to fit in if i join one of the asian christian groups even though i’m not christian and in fact am strongly atheist. i just want to join and pretend i’m interested in converting. i wish to meet fellow asians and fobs. those groups do alot of social activities, right?

I find it somewhat sad that a half of the people in Christian groups are just there to socialize.

Newton: They do have a lot of social events, and I think you’ll be fine if you don’t mind having very Christian friends.

heh, I ended up leaving the Christian groups because I found them to be too social…

^isn’t that what they’re about anyways? fellowship.

People speak english in TAU because they don’t know if they should speak minnan or mandarin. Don’t want to offend anyone, you see?

what do you do exactly in aca?
