I’m going to apply for the spring 2016 semester I just graduated and I need a school that offers a decent amount of financial aid on the east coast like pace Rutgers uconn what are my chances?
Are you an American citizen/permanent resident, or are you a Turkish citizen?
What state are you a resident of? Rutgers or UConn will only offer financial aid if you’re a resident of their state, ie., NJ OR Connecticut. Pace is not good financially speaking.
I’m an American citizen I’m gonna apply for fafsa just not sure which colleges to go with
Do you have a home state for which you would be considered a resident? Run the Supermatch engine on the left side of this page.
I just noticed this^. Look through the threads on here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/financial-aid-scholarships/1678964-links-to-popular-threads-on-scholarships-and-lower-cost-colleges.html#latest
You’re OOS for UConn and Rutgers. You’re not going to get aid.

I'm a freshman at a non accredited university in Turkey I'm studying medicine but I want to transfer to any college in America for my second year. What are my chances and how is the procedure?

And you won’t be an incoming frosh, it appears.
I think you misunderstand what FAFSA is. It is an app for fed aid. Feb aid isn’t much. It won’t pay for college.
How much will your parents pay each year?
Have your parents run the NPC on the different schools’ websites to see how much they’ll have to pay after the small amount of federal aid.
If you have any hopes of being a doctor, stay where you’re at. You likely will not end up with the GPA here to get into a US med school.
If you’re an American citizen, use the NPCs (Net Price calculator) on EVERY college website.
FAFSA is just an application that allows you to get $5,500 in loans and, in some cases, a few thousand dollars in grants. That’s it. Since college will cost at least 30,000 dollars for you, you need to figure out finances first.
Look at LACs (National Liberal Arts Colleges) ranked 1-125; at universities offering merit aid for your stats; and universities that offer financial aid to out of state applicants, whether private ones or public ones. That last category is least likely to have financial aid for you.
Some colleges have out of state waivers for fairly modest ACT/SAT scores. These won’t necessarily be on the east coast, though, and may not be as well known as you like.
