Hey,

I would be thankful if you can give me a hint of what college I will be able to get in at. I’m going to major in economics(maybe double major with mathematics, philosophy or arabic) and seek a need-blind school with emphasis on academics.

Sophomore in Danish high school - will be changing to a full IB diploma from next year

I will have math HL, English HL, Danish HL, Business management SL, Biology SL and
French SL or Geography SL

Exchange student last year in America

Speaks English and Danish fluently, have had French since 7th grade

4.0 GPA

Will get great recs

2200 SAT - havent taken it yet, but 2200 is realistic

Founder of a debate club with national politicians visiting the club

Homework tutor in one of Denmarks most troubled ghettos

Former elite fencer: did tournaments throughout Northern Europe and 2 training camps in Boston

I’m really passionate about these activities and enjoy them so much. Through the debate I have seen many people foster passion for debate and political involvement which is so amazing to see. I enjoy tutoring and (hopefully) creating a passion for learning and academics that will (hopefully) end up in those students going to college and getting themselves well off.

I am going to major in economics in college. The subject is purely amazing and I am certain how much I will enjoy studying it. I just can’t wait to be studying it at college level! I’m reading many books in the subject in my spare time and find it ever more fascinating and complex the further I get.

I’m afraid not having pages and pages of extra curriculars, like many top US candidates will make me a weak applicant.

Which colleges should I go for, with a 4.0 GPA and around 2200 SAT score?

Hope you can help!
