I attend an extremely competitive college prep school. I have gotten recruited for track by many division II schools and division I school. I have made all A’s except 1 B (that was 2/10 of a point away from an A) . I took all regular classes my freshman sophmore year. I am taking Spanish III,Religion, anatomy, physcology AP,English III, Algebra II, Chemistry Honors and athletic PE right now. I am a third generation legacy at a very prestigious college. I am a girl who partied a lot in highschool, liked by my classmates, was a member of student council, a member of homecoming court, a recruited athlete and I am considered to be “pretty” at my school. Basically, I work hard and play hard. College tuition is not a concern as I am in the 650k+ income bracket so that is not an issue. What college do you think I will fit in best? I am in no way trying to brag or sound “full of myself”. I would like your opinion on where I would fit in best.

I saw a lot listed about what you do but not what you like…

What do you think you want to major in?
Do you like academic or practical?
Do you actually want to run in college?
Test scores?
Do you want to go to your legacy college?
Any preference on college size?

It sounds like you’ll have a lot of options, but focus on what you want, not what you were in high school. The questions above are a good starting point. Once you answer those then people will be able to start naming schools for you.

Some good things you did include above:
extremely competitive college prep school + All A’s
“work hard and play hard”
College tuition is not a concern

But all I know from that is you want a great / top school with a decent party scene and there’s no cost limitations. That doesn’t narrow it down a ton…

If you go to a competitive college prep school (is this private), don’t you have a dedicated college counselor who can point you to some great choices?

The “work hard play hard” vibe is, to me, strongest at the following schools:

University of Michigan
University of Southern California
Duke University
Colgate University
University of Virginia

I’m sure there are others that I don’t know about, but at those schools, the partying is as good as it gets for places of such high academic calendar.
