What colleges could I get in?

I’ve been doing a lot of college research this summer and thought I’d see what you guys thought of my profile and where I could get in. I’d really like to go to one of the top schools and would appreciate a reach/match/safety analysis for what schools you think would be good for me. After the break I’ve included a short list of colleges I’ve been considering. For a quick skim, read the bold items.

**Colleges I’m considering: Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Williams, Amherst, Columbia, Rice, U. of Chicago, Duke, Dartmouth, Brown, Georgetown, and Middlebury. /B

**What I want in a school:

-Intellectually stimulating students
-Strong undergraduate education with solid pre-law record
-Strong PolSci program and politically active (I lean conservative)**
-Good a cappella singing groups (I’ve read most Ivies do)
-I’m neither interested in nor bothered by sports activities
-High level of prestige (not as important, but would be nice…)

PoliSci is going to be Columbia and Georgetown hands down.

But you need safeties. You’re a good applicant, but plenty of great applicants get rejected every year. And Amherst is definitely not a safety.

Look into UVA, UMich, Vanderbilt, Kenyon, Colgate, Colby, etc.

Best wishes.
