I know WVU offers a 6 day trip to incoming freshman for. Nominal fee. I love the idea of this because you get to meet a small group and bond before starting college. Any other schools offer something like this? I’m not going to choose a school based on this but I’m curious.

Here is the information on William and Mary’s pre orientation trips.

Tons of schools offer this sort of thing – it might be a question you can ask during college visits. I would personally not use this as a major criteria to choose pretty a college as pretty much every college has an orientation program for freshmen.
My Hamilton trip is kayaking on a lake
I have friends doing community outreach, canoeing, hiking, art exploration, literally everything. Something I love about the program is that they take our phones which really allows us to get involved in the activity and with others.
