<p>Resume</p>

<p>School: Weird…It’s a center-based magnet (as in there’s a small magnet program in the regular school) It’s ultra-competetive for the top 25% of the class. 5 or 6 people go to the ivies, and 60 or 70 go to UVA and William and Mary. On the other hand, the school is unaccredited and about 20% of the school drops out. </p>

<p>Skills:
Good at advertising. Lots of Public Speaking experience from Model United Nations, Debate, etc. Very creative (does creative writing and video game design for fun). Good at balancing budgets and observing trends in markets. </p>

<p>Study Focus:
Currently co-enrolled in local university (taking Calculus I, II and Physics - Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism) and High School. Also enrolled in University of Illinois NetMath program (taking Multivariable Calculus)
Looking to major in Engineering and Business</p>

<p>Work Experience: Worked at local Pharmacy from 9th to 10th grade. Had to stop for family reasons. </p>

<p>Outside Interests:
Beta Club (President) – Increased the amount of money in the treasury by $150 by raising price of inductance fee. Managed three fundraisers: Marine Corps Toy Drive, Christmas Mother Canned Food Drive, and SPCA Drive
Academic Team (Captain) – State Championship Qualifier (10), 3rd Place in Region (11)
Academic Resource Provider – Created a blog for AP Tutoring, now widely used throughout Area High Schools. Created a blog for SAT Tutoring which is widely circulated throughout my High School . Created a blog for State Standards Tutoring, which I will affiliate with my high school.
Student Government – Created legislation that digitized club management at my high school
Currently working on this digitized club management. Should be finished soon.
Debate and Model United Nations – Have won a number of regional awards such as “Best Delegate” in regional Model United Nations Conferences.
Other Interests: Freelance writing, video game design (made a couple of video games for fun)</p>

<p>Aspirations: Becoming an Entrepreneur (in Biomedical, Financial, or Education industry). I’ve been interested in Entrepreneurship for ever, really. I have a giant notebook of ideas in my backpack with ideas relating to Biomedical Engineering, Hedgefunds, and Education. I really want to start a business and change the world. I’m actually working on creating a study aid for kids to learn early math (it’s a long term thing. Not going to include it in college apps or anything). It’s pretty fun to me!</p>

<p>So… I’m applying to UVA, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and possibly Cornell. Where else should I apply?</p>

<p>Why possibly… your stats look good for Cornell as well as some other unlisted Ivy’s. You have a great chances at these schools, but why not take it up a notch? Your acceptance potential is definitely up there. You love engineering why not try MIT… see what happens. Good Luck!</p>

<p>I’m trying to look for a school that’ll offer me awesome entrepreneurial opportunities as well as a cooperative rather than competitive environment :)</p>
