With a 2130 SAT score: 640 reading 770 math and 720 writing, where should I apply in the future? I have a 4.0 unweighted gpa and am in IB as well.

Your major, your geographic preference, your ability to pay?

Major: Not completely sure. Probably some sort of engineering, economics, international relations, or physics and I would like a language minor. I should be able to pay for state schools (north carolina) but may apply for financial aid to privates. Preferably east coast

Assuming that you are a junior and will be applying next year. I’d say improve the Critical Reading score to ~700 so you can apply to Ivy League schools as your reach schools.

Okay. After that should I be okay? Would I be able to have a shot at ivy league schools? Are my other scores good enough? My essay was an 8 on writing so I don’t know if that would hurt my chances

Not enough detail - what is your course rigor like? ECs? volunteer work?
SAT scores alone aren’t enough to get you into Ivy Leagues.

Just wondering about what the sat score does for me. I did say IB program by the way. If you want to know, my ec’s are pretty good. Oh ya I’m a sophomore too, didn’t mention that
