Home State? How much can your family afford? Small/Large/Private/Public? What area of the US are interested in going (East Coast/West Coast/Midwest/South)??

Thanks for your response. I am from IL. My family doesn’t care too much about the price. I don’t care if it is small or large, public or private. I have no opinion on where I go.

I would plug your stats into the SuperMatch feature on this website and try to narrow down your choices. There are several thousand colleges in the US, so you need to give us CCer’s some guidelines.
I would start with your home state such as the University of Chicago which is a highly competitive and highly ranked school in your own backyard.

Thank you! I have narrowed down some of my choices:

Johns Hopkins
Uchicago
Northwestern
Vanderbilt
UMichigan-Ann Arbor
Emory
WashU-st. Louis
Duke
UofCal-Berkeley
Dartmouth, Princeton or Cornell(my dad said I had to apply to 1 ivy League)

Also, I have decided on a double major in Biomedical Engineering and Biology.
