I want to major in international relations if that helps
I don’t really care if it’s in state or not. Money isn’t a big deal but scholarships and a public school would be nice. I don’t plan on swimming in college.
Home state? (Public schools are only inexpensive if they’re in your home state!) Do you have preferences about location, size, setting, type of school, etc? Does “money isn’t a big deal” mean you are positive you would be able to afford $70,000+ a year?
If you are serious about IR, then definitely check out Georgetown, Tufts, William and Mary, George Washington, and American.
Home state matters because you have a better chance of getting in. W&M would be a reach if you are OOS. All the above schools could be reaches for you. At GW 86% of the accepted students are in the top 25% of their HS class and you are at top 40% now. .
