<p>open curriculum, or at least progressive/different in some way
good financial aid, preferably no loan, or with the possibly of merit aid with 2260 sat and 3.9/4.5 gpa
relatively selective and prestigious, but not impossible to get into… something 20-40 ish % acceptance rate
good opportunity for undergraduate research</p>
<p>but most important to me is something that would make the educational experience uniqueeee in some way. also i’m aware this is very particular and picky i doubt i’ll find a school that fits everything i want just in general this is what i’m looking for…</p>
<p>I know that the New College of Florida, Colorado College, and Eugene Lang all have student-directed curriculum. I believe Johns Hopkins also has less strict course requirements.</p>
<p>With those numbers, you will at least be competitive at Brown, so I would definitely apply. If your interested in LACs, I know that Amherst and I believe Wesleyan have open curriculums and would definitely fit your other categories as well.</p>
<p>It will be rather tough to find a college that will both give you merit aid for those stats and would be reasonably ranked/competitive. Remember, the main reason that colleges give merit aid is to attract a caliber of students that is well above their current student body. Not to say you can’t find a school like this, but there aren’t very many</p>
<p>ehh i may end up applying anyway but i feel reluctant doing so when i am not at least somewhat confident i will get in. i think i’m smart enough but not impressive enough in any other way, i’m not too involved… i’m like a smart slacker lol</p>

<p>oh yesh i know sadly that is true. i’m applying to other schools where i’d be well above average for that reason, just hoping for the best still at other schools</p>
