I need a new pair of walking sneakers. I’ve always purchased white as they tend to go with everything. I’m just wondering if those look really out dated with all the colors. But I also like to wear my sneakers sometimes when I’m not doing athletic stuff, in my white shorts…and they match no matter what too I have on.
I have at least 6 pairs. Gray (Sketchers that I wear at work a lot), a brownish-gray Nike pair with magenta trim (for running), aqua Nike, one that is mostly sage green and gray (Dr Scholls brand - comfy and inexpensive and I like the color, but not very durable/long lasting). And a couple of white pairs.
My special bike shoes are white. My hiking boots are navy blue/green, my walking sneakers are asics and one is hot pink, one is turquoise.
If I’m wearing sneakers with jeans for ex, I have 2 pair - one tori burch with a little blue ruffle on it and one stuart weitzman with pearls and rhinestones - lol They’re actually really cute.
Current line up:
Grey New Balance w/slight coral accents(mainly for casual wear)
Orange/Grey NB - very flat but for casual wear
Light blue/pink Nikes
Charcoal Grey/Purple Nikes
BRIGHT orange Nikes
Coral/white/grey Asics
Last 4 all for fitness.
I used to only wear white, and have a couple pairs of white left. But I have 2 pairs I wear now–1 light blue with orange trimmed Nikes, and 1 black-ish grey with teal trimmed Merrells. I love my Nikes & Merrells, so light and comfortable!
I mentioned elsewhere that I like colorful shoes. My closet is like Pantone color collection. My latest pair is Brooks Levitate in teal-blue. Love them and the color. Brooks just came out with some nice new colors, and I have not bought any shoes in a while, so hmmm… but Hoka made some new models, so those are also in the running. Just missed the Dunkin donut shoe! Those looked fun!
For walking around I wear white New Balance. I like the white Adidas Stan’s too. I’m looking at a pair of Allbirds in either gray or pink.
I wear other shoes for running.
I love crazy colors for my running shoes. The brighter the better. But, I do also have one black pair to wear when walking around. I only wear the bright ones when I’m actually running.
