<p>Any top firms/banks? How many students are annually offered positions? What are the average first-year salaries for Whitman/ Newhouse students?</p>
<p>Whitman and Newhouse are very different, and you can expect a very different range of salaries from these two colleges. I am a 2004 Newhouse grad (broadcast journalism major) and the salary straight out of school is very low (my first job was in NYC and by putting in about 60 hours a week I made $40k… jobs in other cities will pay less).</p>
