What constitutes relevant work experience?

For MBA schools, what constitutes relevant work experience? People say all the time that top MBA programs, such as Harvard, Wharton, or Stanford, all value relevant work experience over everything. Does that mean working at one of the Big Four, a BB IB company, etc.? Or does that mean working for a company that forces you to apply what you have learned, such as a finance major working as a wealth manager?

Whatever you can tell a good story about

What ever is related to what you want to do with your MBA. Or something completely different.
