I have applied to General Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

I just noticed on Minerva that my status for my Mechanical Engineering application has changed from under review to further review required, and I assume its because they need my mid-year grades.

However, the status for my General Engineering degree has changed from under review to “Refused- Ineligible.”… anybody have any ideas why that might be?

Also… for some reason my Minerva pin never works, and I always have to answer my lost pin security question and reset my pin just to see the status of my application. Anyone else having this problem?

Yeah, Minerva can be a b1tch.

If you have CA Secuirty or any one of those harcore antiviral programs, deactivate them while logging on to Minerva. Change your password one more time and then exit and enter with you password all while your firewall is down.

Are you an American applicant?
Have you taken all prerequisite courses?

And you might want to go to Studentawards Forum (google it) it’s the Canuck equivalent of CC, not as high end though. It’s pretty crappy, but there are a couple more McGill students and applicants there…

Well, Minerva did not like my password I use for everything, so I made another out of random letters and numbers and it works now…

And thanks for the other forum :)

Well… apparently you can’t apply for General Engineering if you have already taken some college classes. I didn’t realize that…
