What counts as a "big" achievement

I don’t think I have anything really big. All I have is National Merit Semifinalist, Intel Finalist (didn’t win anything there =(, so I’m thinking this has less value than it looks), random FBLA national finalist (also didn’t win anything, I stink). These are the only things I can think of that are on the national level. Would saying that I was second in state for FBLA sound better/look better than saying FBLA national mere finalist? and same with being regional science fair first overall grand prize winner rather than just Intel Finalist?

I’m also under the impression that if you get into the TASP or RSI program (only got alternate for this =( again), that also basically counts as a strong draw point.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Intel Finalist is a fantastic achievement! You should definitely write that down, as well as your FBLA finalist. However, putting down RSI ‘alternate’ is not on the same level, you would be better off telling them about something else, imo.
