What course should I take?

My major activity is art, but I’ll probably apply as a STEM major (if this is a bad idea tell me). I have the option of taking one of these following classes next year:
-AP Psychology
-AP Environmental Science
-AP Art History
-Chinese 2
-Some honors art class?

The other 5 are already APs so I wondered if I should go with something easy for the 6th. The problem is that Chinese is standard (no weight) so it’ll possibly lower my GPA

Why are you applying as a STEM major? Are you not planning to major in STEM, but Art? If so, then yes, it’s a bad idea. If art is your main activity, then clearly, you should choose art history. Be careful with six APs. It’s hard to get top grades in six AP classes, and colleges don’t care who takes the most APs. They want high grades above all.

You are giving off a very conflciting message here. I get the feeling you are aiming high, are probably female, and think that by declaring a STEM major you are giving yourself some kind of advantage. You aren’t. You should take classes you are interested in and do well in them. You shouldn’t be pretending to want to major in things you aren’t interested in. Colleges will be able to see pretty easily from the whole picture of your application where your interests lie.

What foreign language do you have? Have you taken Chinese 1 and nothing else, or did you take a foreign language through level 4 or AP and took chinese1 as an elective?

^ If Chinese is your only foreign language, you should probably continue it (for admissions sake, not fluency)
