Thanks in advanced Guys,
JJ

This is a question that you can safely put off until after you have completed your first semester or two of required coursework. Professors in you program who know you and know the courses are the best source for this kind of information.

If you decide to become an accountant, you will be guided by the CPA requirements for the state in which you intend to earn your license.

Financial Analyst is a catch-all job title that can refer to a wide array of very loosely related positions depending on the specific firm and industry. To some extent, you could say the same of Accountant, but accounting has a relatively common career path that most frequently begins with an associate position in tax or audit. Though, it is often applied to bookkeepers and clerks who do accounting-related work but are not accounting professionals.

If you mean that you may want to become a financial securities analyst with a brokerage, IB or fund, you probably need to adjust your expectations or attend a different school.

Ok your right about putting off the question, and yes I do wish to become an finanical securities analyst what do you mean by adjust my expecttation?
Thanks

I think he is saying that usually the higher end firms (Goldman Sachs etc) don’t recruit from New Mexico state schools.
