What criteria should be listed?

<p>Before I take a leap and post my stats, I was curious to see what stats you all think are important or necessary to have listed in order for others to make a good judgement call on if you could get in or not. Thanks everyone!</p>

<p>GPA, class rank, sat, sat 2, ap scores, schedule, ecs, awards, what you want to study if you know, notes about how to interpret the stats</p>

<p>gender, race/ethnicity, your location</p>

<p>Look at College Board and under admissions each school lists which factors they consider “Very Important”, “Important”, “Considered”, and “Not Considered”.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars, which are extremely important when one is applying to places like HPYS. Provide details: Offices held; projects initiated, money raised, whether one made All State for your instrument, etc.</p>

<p>Just saying “outstanding ECs” is not enough because often what seems outstanding compared to one’s classmates is very typical in a HPYS pool, which is filled with class presidents, club officers and people who have played a classical instrument for 10 years.</p>
