What currency to use in Princeton's financial aid application (PFAA)?

I am an international student from Bangladesh. What currency do I use in Princeton financial aid application? My own currency of US Dollar?? Or either option is acceptable?

I would assume that either would be fine. Just be sure to specify if it’s your native currency, lest they make some erroneous conclusions.

For example, ten Mexican pesos approximately equal one US dollar. If a Mexican applicant listed a family income of 250,000/year the financial aid would be zero if it were dollars but a full ride if it were pesos.

The Turkish lira is an even more extreme example. Since roughly 1,000,000 lira = $1, failure to specify the currency could cause significant confusion.

What @sherpa said is definitely a valid option in many financial aid applications, but PFAA is not one of them. It is stated on their website that one must use US Dollars.
