What did i do wrong?

<p>The University of Michigan sent me my letter of defferal yesterday.</p>

<p>Poli-Sci/Pre-Med</p>

<p>GPA: 3.6 ish
ACT: 27
Extracurricular:tons
Community Service: around 100 hours
I am president of Student Council and National Honor Society
I have been active in student government since freshman year
Golf team captain, quiz bowl team capatain, quiz bowl state competitor, science olympiad state competitor…</p>

<p>I had a letter from a Michigan State Congressman</p>

<p>My essays were pretty solid</p>

<p>I turned my app and all credentials in very close to the deadline.</p>

<p>I have a friend with practically the same activities as me. He has 3.9 or 3.9. He was accepted to the U of M. He did turn his app in 2 weeks before i did…</p>

<p>I have been accepted to MSU and Albion, and am waiting for news from Loyola Chicago.</p>

<p>If anyone knows my chances at Loyola let me know please.</p>

<p>Also, if i had a letter of recomendation from a US Congressman, could my defferal be affected by that?</p>

for a 3.6 GPA you should have a 30 or higher ACT to compensate</p>

<p>you didn’t do anything wrong, your Stats don’t make you over-qualified for U of M even for in-state. You will probably get accepted RD though good luck</p>
