Hey, I’m a junior and interested in applying to Duke ED in the fall of 2016 . So i was wondering, what did it take for you(admitted student) to get in? Is there a “golden ticket”, and if there is (i highly doubt it), what is it? So what do you have to do to get in? How should the essays be written? And would sports be a passion since i LOVE everything about sports from the science (sports science lol) to playing it. What exactly should someone demonstrate in their essays? So what does it take to get in? thanks
As was explained the exact same thread you started a few weeks ago, check out the regular and ED results threads. There is no “golden ticket.” Certainly sports can be a passion – you should be able to exhibit this through your activities and success in that arena.
Here’s the thread:

Looks like you’ve started multiple threads on the same topic at multiple schools. Starting more isn’t going to help. I’d take the advice / perspective of all the people in those threads. Good luck.
