what direction is Princeton moving towards?

what direction is Princeton moving towards?
For example: I hear Uchicago is moving towards making its school more active and less nerdy?

The current administration is really pushing the residential college system. Whitman and Mathey became four year colleges last year, and Butler will go four-year in the fall of 2009. Some students view this push as an attack on the eating clubs, but it’s a very complicated issue.

Princeton is also looking to further diversify its student body, and dilute the elitist image that has been part of its F. Scott Fitzgerald past. Princeton president, Shirley Tilghman is noted for having said that she would like to see more students who have “pink hair.” An interesting statement from a Princeton president.

i dont understand this four year college business…im gonna be a freshman in whitman. does that mean i’m in whitman for four years?

You can either choose to remain in Whitman for four years or opt into upperclassmen housing junior year.

Yeah don’t sweat it you’ll have plenty of time to decide. Whitman is new and shiny and they give you $15 each time you have to miss a meal because an official school function is being held there.
