To colleges see your AP scores before admittance?

oh also… where do AP scholar awards get shown if you haven’t taken 3 AP tests during Soph/Junior years.

no AP exams are to get college credit. they mean pretty much nothing in admissions, other than taking the class makes your schedule appear more rigorous. You don’t even send your official AP score report untill after you’ve decided where you’re going. AP awards also don’t matter much unless you get like AP National by the end of junior year.

they help admissions a little…
but they are mostly for placement/credit…

No, you can send your AP scores with you initial applications. And it does help if you have 4’s and 5’s.

This junior year I took the tests in English (after taking the AP course for a year) as well as Chemistry (no AP class but A in honors). I got a 4 on the English and …dare I say 2 on the Chemistry.

How does that play out in admissions, specifically EA. Do I just write English Lang 4 on the app instead of sending them everything?? Because if I send the 4, the 2 will come along, right?

Or is 4 not good enough to put on there for an elite?
Thanks

I got AP Scholar with Distinction this junior year

Anything I can say to milk this in my college app?
