What do I do now?

I was accepted early decision to my school and received an estimate financial aid award. I just submitted my FAFSA, found out my EFC, and was selected for the verification process. I’m in New York state so I’ll be applying to state-based aid like the TAP. As for federal aid, what do I do? Is there anything I have to do (like fill out an application) for the federal Pell grant, federal Perkins loan, and other subsidized loans?

Any help would be muchly appreciated.

If you have submitted FAFSA your school will use your EFC to determine your eligibility for federal aid (Pell grant, federal loans etc) and this will appear on your financial aid offer from them. There is nothing else for you to do at this stage as far as Federal Aid - FAFSA = Free Application For Student Aid and is your ‘application’ form.

Being pulled for verification means you will need to submit all requested documentation prior to becoming eligible for federal funding.
