Okay, I’ll start off this thread by saying that I am incredibly stupid, and I am aware, so I don’t need a reminder. Soooo basically, I’m a high school senior living in California. I wasn’t fond of the state, so it had been my goal since 2nd semester of junior year to get the hell out. Because of this, I applied to all out of state schools. Unfortunately, now I realize that I can’t afford a single one of these schools, and I don’t want to go to a state school. I’m not going to lie, but my girlfriend’s decision is weighing on mine as well. So, here are the options:

Go to college A where I originally wanted to go (which ALSO happens to be where my girlfriend is) and then transfer after 1st semester.

Go to the local community college and transfer after 1st semester.

I would want to go to UCLA, and I will be taking community college classes 2nd semester of senior year so I will have the 50 credits needed one semester after I graduate. With the 2nd option, I would be able to get a job making $14/hr.

What do you think I should do? I really don’t want to be $80k+ in debt, especially considering I’m going into college undecided.
