Hi, everyone. I am an international student and I intend to apply to Princeton. I take ACT the first time and score 26/36, my IELTS score is 7.0, my GPA score is 3.5/4.0.I know these scores are very very slow and I am going to take ACT again but is there any other ways that I must do to be accepted to Princeton except things about scores? Can you give me a description of a person who got accepted to this university? What unique things does that person have (except those which are already on the website of this school)? Thank you very much.
You will need a good TOEFL score, and some work on your writing to be admitted. Princeton places a very high value on writing. Bring up your test scores and GPA. Get involved and show leadership in an extra curricular that you love. All the best!
Princeton has one of the lowest admit rates for internationals on the planet due to its extremely generous financial aid. Unless you’re one of your country’s top students, you really have zero chance.
Typical admits will have extraordinary ACT/SAT as well as topmost (near 4.0) GPAs. Seeing as you’ve already graduated, you need to be focusing on realistic target schools. Princeton isn’t one of those, I’m afraid. Good luck.
I would spend more time on investigating many of the other 3000 US colleges.
