DECA- financial director (hopefully president in the future)
Direct and execute fundraisers. Conduct holiday gift drives for impoverished families. Demonstrate key business and sports marketing concepts to 30 peers. Competed in regional career development conference and was awarded 3rd place among over 60 competitors in marketing management series. </p>
<p>Young Dem- VP, Facilitate and supervise over bi-monthly meetings. Initiate and engage in group discussions concerning current affairs and primary elections. Endorsed Senator Obama during Potomac Primaries. Campaigned for local democratic candidates in town homecoming parade.</p>
<p>Amnesty International- Treasurer (hopefully president next year) Co-launched a community wide fundraiser for our partnership school in Northern Uganda. Utilize marketing skills to identify target market during fundraising. Co-facilitate bi-monthly meetings. </p>
<p>Varsity Tennis- co captain (hopefully captain next year)</p>
<p>Students Against Global Abuse- manage recycling programs at 150 local businesses</p>
